Description This is a commission piece that I just completed, it took me a long time. It is really a different theme for me since I do animals. I was very happy with the outcome, considering how much it drove me crazy! It is done in Oil, on canvas, 36x36.

I am considering making this the 2nd painting I have put into print, I will never paint anything like that again hehe

Feel free to comment and let me know what you think of it, good or bad!

Sorry it is a little blurry, had to take pictures at night and delivered it the day after I finished it. I will get a better image for it later!

WOW!!! An amazing level of detail, and such a different painting from what you normally do... I can totally understand why this is the most difficult that you've done! They style is so beautiful, I'm sure that it was well recieved

thanks!! It really did take a lot for me to get through that one, a whole year too. It stalled me from doing all of my other paintings. I now know I can do it and that I do not enjoy it lol I will not put myself through that again. Animals are my passion and they dont come off so difficult, there is passion in animals, that is what I seek in a painting. I am happy that you enjoyed the piece and could appreciate all the work that went into it! thanks

You're welcome! It is so much more difficult to do a project that you are not passionate about... it makes commissions such a challenge...

Thanks, I have to say that was the hardest painting I have ever done. It reminds me more and more why I love painting animals!! Have a great week!

Trust me, I thought my turtle was crazy detailed til I did the firefighter piece. I am just happy I finished, I almost quit lol. Thanks again for all the kind words!!

lol....thanks, it was for a 5 yr olds bedroom, so it was requested!! If you look close he has a heart, smiley face and mickey mouse head spots....
