I don't know if he hates it, but it apparently makes him, "Sick to [his] ill-prone belly" so he's probably mildly disgusted by it. But he doesn't like any pairings in the show, so...

Technically, Jhonen hates all the pairings. He doesn't like any romance of any kind in his show... but yeah, the cast has different opinions on that.

Have you ever noticed that the girls in IZ (Gaz, Tak, Ms.Bitters) have Jhonen -like personalitys while the boys serve as comic relief and have more or less simliar personalitys like their voice actors.
