Description
The night had grown late before a certain espeon decided it was time to sleep. In her earlier years, it wouldn't have been an issue finding a spot to rest, but now as times changed, more and more... dark souls were around. And few others were there for protection.

"I guess the thicket by the river will have to do."

With that said, she rose and started on her way, tired paws brushing silently through the grass. It would've been an understatement to say she was annoyed when she arrived... to see someone had already occupied that same thicket.

He was handsome, but hardly more then a boy when it came to that grin on his face. The shiney-colored umbreon glared up at her through the tall grass where he lay, a challanging smile on his less-then-tired face.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry, miss... was this your bed tonight?"

"....I was just passing by." She lied. Elis turned to walk away but felt a paw slam down on one of her twin tails. She yelped, whirling her head around to look back.

Sure enough, he was standing behind her, looking very sorry, and actually somewhat lonesome. "I didn't mean for you to go. I'm not tired... just waking up actually."

Elis felt like dying! What had she been thinking?! Of course he wasn't stealing her bed, he had used it in the daytime! Umbreons were nocternal pokemon! As embarrased as she was inside, she just sat down and glanced back at him.

"My name's Umber... not too creative, but it does the trick. I'm kinda new to the forest... if you're not too tired, could you spare a moment to tell me where I could find some Razz Berries?"

She rolled an ear and sighed. At least he wasn't a jerk. "There are none here... some humans came with their pokemon not too long ago and they didn't replant any of the berries they took."

"Oh... okay. I'll just find something else to eat.. I didn't catch your name?"

"...Elis. It's uh... a pleasure to meet you Umber."

"Heheh. Pleasure's all mine, Miss Elis."

xD I got a bit overwinded with this, but if you want a summary, it's their first meeting. I don't actually know much about them, so it's a random fanfictiony type thing?
