For piciocino, firstly the background image has been sat on one of my hard drives for nearly the last 4 yrs with no recollection of where I got it from( theres a little thing called google image search) so I would assume it has come from there... do you know the when, where and how of any pics you have saved to your drives?
As you are so astute at finding the link of background image pic, then thanks to original author freelancah for creating such a wonderful piece of art.
Secondly I play and mod a little game for my own use that you may of heard of called Bridge Commander, and the said image was incorporated into my own personal install for a system(once again for my personal use) and not shared by me or gained any profit from it.
The ship has not been copy n pasted as you claim to be all knowing but both background and ship are in game shots...to which I was asked to add here so other members of that little forum( and BC modders) could actually appreciate the screenshot of there ship they modded to be shown off to promote their ships(if you actually looked of when I actually opened an account here) you would see that I created an account a few months or so back for that reason.
Thirdly, it is listed under customization, now correct me if I'm wrong but incorperated into a game for private use and used in gameplay for my private use is customization in my book.

1. Is this ([link] ) the background used in "your" picture, but upside down ?
2. Did the author (freelancah) gave you permission to use it WITHOUT even mentioning his name or place a link to his account ?

I appreciate this is muddying the issue a touch, but how in the heck can you manage to confuse the author of this image (Tallywhack3r) with myself (alreadysalted). We're not even syllabically similar.
I know trying to fight you on this is just making me look bad. I know that 'feeding the troll' is a futile gesture. But seriously, what is it in your genetic makeup that means you have no concept of what a photo-comp is, and what makes you think that continuing to argue is a better use of your time than offering a proper discussion of why you find fault with this piece?
