I made this for one of my best friends for her birthday. Buffy being her favourite show to ever exist ever.
It was intended to be a speedpaint, but i spent so much time on the feature portion of it - Buffy- that i can't really call it speedy
I'm hoping that those who have seen season 7 will be able to pick what the background picture is of without it being a spoiler for those who haven't seen it.
If i look at this, i find things about it i'd like to improve, but if i changed it now, it would be different to the gift, so i'm not going to do anything to it now.
All in all i am quite pleased with it. having spent much of the time shading, shaping, reshaping, reshading and what have you on Buffy, i am happy with the fact it looks even slightly like.
at a guess i would say it took me about 4 hours all up. Done in PS CS3 with my Wacom Cintiq 21UX
