Also, I really like how you made the overview of the turf war map layout and the pattern behind it. The blue-purple ink mixes well with the orange-yellow-orange ink. The pattern feels reminiscent of the load screens in the game, so I'm sure the handheld devices in turf wars have the same features, too.

But in that style they look way too young and everybody has the same round face shape. They eyes are also way too close and same nose and everything. It's really boring to do and way too anime/manga for my taste. Now I aim to give everyone unique face shape with unique facial features (such as nose and head shape) and aim to make the style more western cartoony.
"Uncanny" is really vague and doesn't help me much. Can you be more specific what bothers you?Β

Well uncany in my eyes could be described as
a robot, or a beeing (insert speacie yoursef) looks allmost like a human, but... someting's off (example: itiwitis.info/wp-content/uploa⦠)
I think it's te facial expressions they are making. hm... something about the big mouth on not-so-big faces.
and -not gonna lyie - the orange one freaks me the squid out.

You're talking about the uncanny valley, right? In which an appearance is extremely close to reality but just not there thus making the flaws extremely distracting, or the opposite where a being is cartoony enough that unrealistic traits are mostly skipped/accepted by the human eye.

Hmm... I need to study Disney drawings more and see how they their characters. But a big mouth... Hmmm. It hasn't bothered me too much but this is something I can experiment with and see what the results give.

Ah yeah! Disney has always been a big inspiration and I try to go more with western cartoon style these days. (tho Asian anime/manga was a big part of my style when I was younger, hehe)
And aaah... He's the silent offensive type. Hunts people down. So yeah, with that mask, he really gives this "terminator" fibe. hehe

ther's one thing that botters me about clementine
and not her skin collor. honestly I'm surprised you choose dark skin tone, but I like it.
no what botters me is the lipstics and the nose orange.
it just doesn't fit in my eyes- but that's just me.

She doesn't have lipstick. I just likeΒ emphasizing lips (which tends to be common with darker skinned characters but I do it with all my characters now). And the color hues/blushes on noses, elbows, cheeks are something I just like doing. If they were normal humans, I'd use reddish tone but in case of inklings, their blush tones are same as their ink. In Clem's case, orange. Β

I think one of my fave memories from this game was dodging fire and rushing into the middle of their side. Basically, a set point of spawn for my team to flank them. Hard to do with sniper fire but effective if you know what I call "Dolphin Diving"Β

Cool. Looks like it's all or nothing now. An all out push might just help 'em gain the lead. . . or lock 'em in with no way out. There've been few games where my team's done this and alot of times we succeeded. It's a risk, but it might just be one worth taking.

My guess of what's going to happen next is this: the last resort plan will have the four act entirely on their own. This will allow Whinter to inevitably have another opportunity to take down Clem, but again, he will hesitate, but this time, rather taking him down, she takes down Marian, who catches his hesitation. Before he has an opportunity to make up for it, however, time expires, and the blue team loses by a narrow margin, with Marian furious at Whiter to boot.
