This was made way before splatoon 2 and especially octo expansion. You can see this page was uploaded September 2015. Only few months after the first game came out, haha.
And, my depiction of Cuttlefish is a bit different from his game counterpart anyway. Mine is way more serious.

It has been a while since I've played the single-mode, but does the Cap. mentioned that he's grandfather of the Squid Sisters? I mean, we all know this fact, but he says it by himself?

It's revealed during the final battle and he confirms this after the battle if you talk to him. (he also has their pictures inside his house if you look careful enough)
I made him spill the beans right away because I made it so that people already know who Cuttlefish is so it would make sense they know he's also grandfather of the squid sisters

Well, that was weird.
Started playing Splatoon for Christmas.Β It's fun, but I'm not the best at TPSs.Β I think I can get through Story Mode, though the first boss was annoying as hell.
I love, love, LOVE Marie.Β She's has some absolute gems of lines just on the news.

I love Splatoon's aesthetics, the music I've heard, and much of the fan art but I just really don't care for shooters. I'm strongly considering buying the game just to support it, but I doubt I'd play much of it.Β
I really like your Orange and Blue characters, and Splatoon art in general. I also think you're doing a great job on the comic thus far.
