Redraw month was chosen as theme over patreon, and the first drawing I chose to remake was this old Random Doom piece I made back in 2009.You can see the original here

Also, do you have any tips in improving art?
I think I have some experience in drawing art with pencils.
I've also been a fan of Random Doom since 2015 when I found the unofficial comic dubs on YT, but then I found them again over the summer of this year. Also, are you up to the challenge of redrawing the first 3 comics? Your art has clearly improved over the years.

Yeah, he's a super hero (like spiderman) in my pokemon world, haha.
Aah, practice and practice. I've been drawing over 20 years. And still lot to learn.
As for drawing the first three comics, haha! No no... It would take so long time. I'm planning to work on my original comic series once these fan comics are done.

Ha ha, that's fine! I don't think you want to spend another 3-5 years trying to draw the first few comics that started it off. Also working with original characters in an original comic sounds like an ambitious but rather fun idea!
Also, here's a question that probably nobody has asked before: Is Morrigan going to make an appearance in a future comic? My guess is probably no. I know that Scratch and Sibelius are some of the secondary characters that last appeared in Veilstone City, but there are some other secondary characters that appeared in older comics and were apparently dropped. Anyways, I've been drawing since I was 5 and 6, and I've have a long road ahead of me if I want to get good art. Thanks for the advice though!

Again, thanks for the advice! I kinda want to draw digital art someday in the future, but I have a wacom tablet sitting around in my room for almost 2 years and I don't know how to use it...
I just learned the magic of shading pencils a few months ago and I have to say, It's making my art look good! Smudgers help me out especially since I sometime leave white streaks behind when coloring/shading...

This was one of my favorite images when I first discovered RD.Β
Most interesting anout this redraw is how different the facial expressions are and how brighter the colors are
and yet personally (and this is just me being stuck in me old ways XD) I partly liked the facial expressions of the original anbit more yet these seem a lot more accurate to their charactersΒ
and I never get tired of seeing Vincent geek out over Ledianman *^

The improvement is amazing! This is stunning, so much expression in their body language and the lighting and detail, as well as the slight movement blur is gorgeous.

I like the older one more.
The cleaner linework makes it look more pleasing to the eye,
and the less harsh light gives it a more reletable feeling of childhood.

All in all, you have definetely become much
worse over the years and should give up on
this ludicrously intense lighting.
Give your art a long needed renaissance.

You've improved so much! Your use of shading, colour, expressions, and sense of motion have all come a very long way. The piece is a lot more lively and playful now!

I should've probably commented on this before I faved, but this piece is glorious. I could instantly recognise it as one of your old drawings and it made me so happy that you redrew it. You were an excellent artist when you made the original, but this remade version just shows how far you've come and how much you've learned. Your style has changed quite a lot, but it still gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever I look at your work. 
All in all, I love this piece. The expressions are much better than in the original, Rupert's definitely cracks me up. The lighting is well done and I love how you drew/painted the background, especially the leaves in the tree, the bushes and the clouds. Well done Tamarin!
