Instagram | Patreon | Tumblr | Website | ArtstationMy boyfriend and I recently acquired two gorgeous Red Mountain Boas! This is the male, who I named Mars. They're docile and beautiful snakes. I took some artistic license but they really do have gorgeous red tones and rainbow shine. Their red gets especially deep in the evening.

I don't have anything against rodents, but I still prefer foxes, cats, snakes and spiders. I barely have any problems with other animals, though it would be great if some of the bugs stayed away from me - annoying little creatures.

I've been bit by one too many rodents. They're not as predictable as snakes and other animals. And hamsters are just the worst.

I once had a hamster.... I was a child then and I took it for a walk - never saw it again.
I don't think there are predictible animals - we are animals and we're not predictible. We just do the same thing in some situations

Also, humans are predictable if you know what to look for. Body language will tell a lot and 95% of the time doesn't lie. Someone who knows their shit can probably figure out your entire background and your next few steps by talking to you for 10 minutes

I have been bit by a snake once and that was because I smelled like guinneapig. I find it easier to see when a snake is about to flip his shit. They'll contract themselves to the well known "s" shape to say "go away now or shit gets ugly" rodents have just kinda bit me out of nowhere. And yeah, dogs. You know when they're pissed by their growling but if they hunt they're usually quiet but keep a kinda low... pose? Dunno the word.
