Full-view, please and thanks. :3A Peophin Day pic of Marak the Wave, because he is unbelievably awesome. ^_^ And because I haven't drawn a pet day picture in a long, long time.
I'm actually quite pleased with the way this turned out. Water and armour are usually my downfall, and most of this was just absent-minded experimenting until I realized that it was actually working. xD Plus, a purple sea didn't look nearly as good as it had in my head, so my mum gave me advice on the colour it should be instead. x3 *hugs mum*
... And this thing had way too many layers of shading. o_o I have new respect for all the artists who colour that way all the time.

Ooh, ouch. xD That's about the number I was at, too. And the lighting effects where what did it for me as well. Fortunately, it's been a few years since I drew this picture, and I've now cut myself back to about one layer for lineart, one with all the colouring and shading for the foreground, one for the background, and... er... however many I need for special effects and other various shinies. xD; I still seem to end up with quite a few, though.

Ohh, wow, that's beautiful. I envy your ability with clean cel shading--it all looks so crisp and shiny. The sun reflections on the armor and water are so very pretty, and the water effect is great. I love the silhouette in the background and the little Altadorian island breaking up the sea.
