I've been desperately wanting to try drawing him for quite a while now, so I figured Christmas would make a good excuse. xDSo, who is this?
...Good question!
This is Baroque Storm! Lord of Lightning! Light in the Darkness! Character of Rikku! Other grand and imposing titles of your choice! And just generally awesome and fun to draw, even though I've never drawn a Krawk before. = D Mostly, I enjoy lightning. Dear lord lightning is fun to draw. So are hammers. And hats. And coats. Gears, not so much. They invariably turn out looking like flowers when I draw them.
...And Trilly and I are both getting a kind of anime bishie vibe from his hair, for some reason. It's very Inuyasha. Sorry about that, Rikku. xD;

Too delighted to say much beyond 'eee'. xD Drat. It deserves eloquent praise, too. Oh well. <3 Eeeee! I love his smile! ^__^ And his hat and his coat and his hammer and his coat and did I mention the coat? and the lightning! and the awesomeness and the life and the awesome!
And the hair's fine, I don't have the faintest notion of what his hair looks like. xD This shows when I'm trying to picture him human; Nickel works fine, but Baroque keeps on trying to be all lizardy and his hair is stubbornly unbelievable. So that works fine. <3 His hair is all long and pretty! And I love long-pretty-hair so that is awesome. And he is awesomely drawn and you are awesome and everything is awesome.
Did I mention my love of that coat? xD All buckley and leatherish and squee. And he's so Baroque-ish, too. *happy sigh*

I am overwhelmingly glad about this! xD Because I tried about a million different hairstyles on him as if I fancied myself some kind of deranged barber, and then I looked at the default Krawk image, and then I looked at Shade's picture, and then I reread the descriptions in The Bank Job, and I tried to mix them all together and it looked terrible so I just gave him long prettyboy hair and hoped it would go over alright. >.> So yes, gladness. Particularly that everything is awesome. Hearing that makes me particularly glad. = D
And also yay about the coat! xD I do believe the gears still look like fanciful flower badges, but alas. Buckley and leatherish and squee. Mighty fine adjectives, those are.

My first attempts don't usually go this smoothly. xD I give full credit to the fact that I was staring at a picture of a Krawk for every line of this drawing.
I don't think your Acaras look bad at all. xD But I can sympathise; I've tried a million and a half ways of drawing Zafaras over six years on Neopets and I still think they look terrible too.
