Anri prefers the company of Yokai to the company of humans and therefore spends a lot of time in the woods along with his Yokai partner Mamoru. His manners are unrefined, if they exist at all. Common courtesy is a foreign concept to him. The only time he makes an effort, is around his clansmen, adapting to Kitsune traditions and joining the occasional drunken brawl.

He is only a quiet fellow in the vocal sense, his expression, body language and actions clearly state his opinion to the topic at hand. Sounds and actions are how he communicates and if he takes a liking to someone, personal boundaries vanish. This can be uncomfortable for the other person involved, especially if they mind the smell of animal and fur. Anri doesn't exactly smell of roses and lilies.

Anri was never shy, he is forceful, violent and goes directly for whatever he wants.
