Well that's it... I've been pulled out of custom retirement. Thanks to a looming down payment on our first home. Wait till I get me studio set up I tell ya! Just wait! I'LL DOMINATE THE WORLD EVILY!So yeah, I ain't gonna lie. The more we can put down on this crazy haunted-A looking house the happier we'll be. Slightly nervous are we, then came a long miss Jean from the MLPArena. Saying "Hey I got some money you shameless pony hooker you. And I was like "Ay Mommiee!"
She got the full wash n' shine service on this one too.
This is actually my second Swifty for her. So I got all bully like and made her agree to a total no-say blind job. She gave me her money and had no clue what she's get back in return. Well technically the third since she purchased Royal Pink Swifty.
Fast forwarding several months. Thanks clay allergy. You fill my days with sunshine. She's finally gotten her girl and here I am a postin!

This particular one was a commission.
Occasionally I'll sell one of my personal customs but for the most part I work by commission.
But sadly I have developed a rather sucktastic allergy to the clay I use. So one of my clauses is that you have unlimited patience. Should I have a reaction it could take weeks before it clears up enough for me to touch the peice again.
I do have a pretty good protective system worked out but occasionally I run into some residue I just didn't know was there... You get the idea I think.
Pricing all depends on wnat you want made.

well lets say I'd want a winged one like this one, see if I was to buy one it would be for my two nieces Mia one of my nieces wanted a princess pony with pretty wings. lol Nova is my other niece. I haven't asked her what one she wanted yet. Nova's favorite colors are Pink and purple Mia's favorite mlp is rainbow dash. she loves anything to do with rainbows. so something to do with a princess pony that has wings and rainbows? lol Nova wanted wings on hers too I know that for sure. I'll have to ask nova what she wanted again just to be sure. Of course I understand, I'm not impatient. I'll wait as long as it takes.

Pff! you should see the lated allergicly reacted spot. I look like a G D lepper. and I'm all out of cream. Stoopid new health insurance. Taking all long to kick in so I can get a new prescrip.

it really is hard to say. I depends on what the customer wants. and for this one I ended up undercharging. She gave me total free will of it. And without a leash I wound up doing more work than I charged her for. Worked out for and thats just as good, seeing as she's mad happy with it.

I keep intending to make a few, but it just never happens. To much day job work and life changes.

There's a whole network of us that do remove the hair etc and re-hair so she gets someone else to do it.

I hate the process so SO much that it makes me weep tears of lifelong regret. I have all my custom re-hairs done by the wonderful, magical and MERCIFUL . Another pony customizer.

If the pony already has light or white hair then yeah you can dye it.
But for the most part I just order new hair from [link] and have it shipped directly to woosie. and from there she re-hairs my pony for me.

Well, just be sheer number and quality of her customs I consider her a pro.
She and I have known each other through the MLPArena for quite some time now. So we generally just work out trade agreements. I purchase the hair and pay her for her work with art commissions. I still ow her one right now infact.

Occasionally I give it thought... to do another tapestry uni I mean. But I did swear off the pear tree design for the sake of the person who purchased the custom its based on.
Perhaps one day I'll do the unicorn at the fountain.
