FULLVIEW, PLEASE!Okay, I'm still a day behind on my Daily Draw challenge, but work was still kicking my butt yesterday, to be fair! /excuses excuses.
I have NO IDEA where this drawing came from. I mean, I've been working my way through Season 3 of Avatar on DVD, so this actually started out as Azula (that's why she has such long hair). Then it turned into Korra. Which is cool, because I am hella excited for Legend of Korra to come out - a strong female character whose design is not meant to appeal by sexuality alone, in a 1920's version of the Avatarverse? Count me in!
I am really, REALLY proud of how this turned out! EVERYTHING went right! I was totally happy with the lineart and proportions and coloring! It's so rare that something comes out BETTER than I'm expecting it to. So far, Daily Draw Challenge 2012 is a success.
(music is from the American remake of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - I thought I would hate the cover because I love Led Zeppelin, but it's actually really cool, and worth a listen. Definitely inspired the badass pose.)

lol I don't a problem with her, but I hate how networks need to play it safe and greenlit shows created by either big artists who worked for them before, or a celebrity.
