Description The larger version of the same reference (Bettie by Olivia De Berardinis) I used for the ACEO. This time I had more room to focus on the eyes (something I love drawing and coloring).
The drawing looks much better than what I'm seeing on my screen. Meh! I'll try and take a few more photos later and see if I can get it closer to the real thing. I didn't make her arms that yellowish. For now, I hope this'll do. Hope you like it.

Thank you Sweetie! I did about three layers of blue to get it that vivid. And yes, it's currently hanging over my computer desk. At least, until I do better ones, lol!

Yes, it's matted and framed.
Absolutely! I definitely want to do more cp pinups again soon. Just gotta save up some cash to buy some papers and a few pencils.

That problem will luckily get rectified on Friday. I'm dying to get a few good pinups going in colored pencil.

Awww ... we'll see how it goes. I'm going to try some different, cheaper paper, so I have no idea yet how the pinups will turn out. I have it pictured in my mind, so all I can hope for is that the result matches what I'm thinking.

This is wonderful! It's kinda nice to see some pencil work out of you again. Since it is my current medium of choice I really enjoy seeing the limitless capabilities of it.

Wow, all the way at the other end Unfortunately I never made it that far over. But if it's anything like the rest of Austria, I'm sure it's beautiful there. It is indeed a small world. Well, it's wonderful to make your acquaintance, Hal.
I don't know about masterpiece, although I like it more now that it's matted and framed. I'm going to do more Betties now because I know I can do just as good, if not better.

I've been to Vienna and a few other places in Austria and Yugoslavia, that's where my father's from. I remember the alps in Linz, so breathtaking and it's so beautiful there. It's wonderful to make your acquaintance too. I'll do another Bettie, perhaps after the holidays.

Austria is a beautiful country. My father is from Vienna, so that's how I came to be there. My Mom is Singaporean.

Certainly different. I hope to go back again as well, when traveling becomes less expensive and you have to decide whether you want to make your monthly house payment, or take a trip.

Sometimes I think the digital cameras and scanners ganged up on us, because everyone (including myself) says that the scanner/camera messed the picture up I can so understand you, I'm always shocked to see what my scanner does with my picture

Anyway, she has a real nice gaze in this. I love drawing eyes, too, but I guess most people do

Well, I have a really horrible and old scanner, so it won't do a really good job scanning drawings. My camera is a newer model, but it's so dark and cloudy outside that the picture didn't turn out nice and bright. I'll keep trying though, until I can get a picture that comes close to the original.
