Are he and Maria really and truly divorced? I ask this because of how in Vacation Daze, Carlotta's bringing in guys for her Tia Maria to date which seems to confirm that they Are divorced from each other. yet in that same episode, Arturo was phoning Maria on Her phone! And there wasn't any form of bitterness in either parent's tone or look. I'm almost positive that No divorce between husband and wife is ever Truly pleasant between themselves! But another thing that confuses me is: If Maria & Arturo are truly divorced, then why hasn't Arturo's new wife in South America been shown up to now let alone mentioned?
I Still don't understand Why they divorce each other if they're so pleasant and friendly to one another. It also make me feel suspicious over things. Just like the hospital Maria works at. Just what kind of monstrous, tyrant for a boss does she have controlling her and forcing her to work too much!? I really think Maria deserves so much better in life than being a lowly nurse. She honestly should get promoted to Doctor and get a friend/sidekick for the hospital!
There's just too many questions for me regarding the Santiago family....
