Continuing my sequel idea, family matters, During her first few days of motherhood ever since giving birth to maya, Mei was having some trouble at first. But luckily her friends and family pitched in to help teach her about parenthood and sending baby supplies. Eventually, Mei and maya formed a full mother and daughter bond.

On the left, Mei sings “you’ll be in my heart” in Chinese to maya as a lullaby. On the right, red panda mei nose snuggles maya. This takes place a few months later and maya is close to one year old, hence why she said “mama” here.
