Description
The cooper gang’s travels took them to an island off the coast of Africa, where strange activity has been going on thanks to someone called Dr splicer. According to his file, splicer was a gibbon scientist who was known for his experiments involving creating his own unique species of flora and non-sentient fauna by splicing genes. But one day he went mad with power and turned to experimenting on sentient animals including his own species. He was put in an asylum but managed to escape and flee to this very island where he built his secret lab and continued his work. A number of kidnappings have been reported since.

INTERPOL were investigating one side of the island while the cooper gang were on the other side. Right now Bentley and Penelope were on a mission to find splicer’s data and come up with a plan to take him down. The two decide to split up and search faster that way, agreeing to meet outside once they found enough evidence.
After sneaking past traps and guards, Penelope made it to one of the labs, searching for any clues.

“Nothing so far ,” she said before something growled. She stopped and listened, It was her stomach. “Oof, but of course I can’t do it on an empty stomach.” She said.

Luckily, She spots a bunch of bananas growing from a potted banana tree.

“How oddly convenient,” she said approaching the bunch, plucking a banana, peeled it and took a bite. Penelope’s eyes widen. This banana was unlike any other banana she had tasted, bursting with rich flavor.

“Wow, this is delicious!” Penelope commented and quickly gobbled the banana up. “I’ve never had fruit this tasty before! In fact, I could use one more or two.”

She plucks two more and searches around the place. She read notes on a desk, takes pictures of important items, searches through pictures before finding something on a computer that caught her interest.

“According to these, splicer is planning an expedition to find something called the jeweled monkey in an ancient temple.” Penelope read. “Legend says that this artifact has the power to transform anyone once powered with two jewel eyes from the temple’s god statue. Oh this doesn’t look good. I better download the coordinates and files and show them to Bentley.”

She plugs in a USB drive and downloads. As she waited for the data to download, Penelope helped herself to more bananas. She couldn’t get enough, she was lost in blissful taste of the potassium-packed fruit that was practically addictive. She don’t know how much she had eaten until she finally got full, banana peels scattered all over the floor and saw that she had eaten half of the whole bunch.

“Oh man, I guess I-urp!-got a little carried away. There’s my potassium intake for the day.” Penelope rubbed her full belly.

But on the bright side she had everything she was looking for and the USB was fully downloaded. Taking it out of the computer and pocketing it, she was about to leave when she suddenly stopped. A strange feeling churned in her stomach.

“Oooooh, I don’t feel well all of a sudden…” she moans, putting both hands on her belly. She could feel that something was wrong here and she needed to get moving. Quickly reaching her binocucom, she had to at least tell Bentley that she found some evidence of splicer’s plan.

“Gotta call Bentley-Ook ook eek!” Penelope covers her mouth. Did she just make monkey noises? Shaking it off, she tried to call Bentley again.

“Come on pick up-Ook eek eek!” Again she sounded like an ape. Dropping her binocucom she clutched her head, a burning sensation flaring all over her body.

“Ah ah! I’m burning up!” Penelope lowered her hands and that’s when it happened. Her hands twitched and her gloves suddenly felt tight. Her gloves weren’t shrinking, her hands were growing! Penelope looked on in shock as her hands grew big, her fingers tearing the fingers of her gloves off. An itchy prickly feeling crept along her arms as she pulled her sleeves up to see blonde fur the same color as her hair growing on her arms, which were also growing and thickening. Penelope held her head as her body burned up from the changes.

“What’s happening to me?!” Penelope panicked as The rest of her body changed. Her legs grew alongside her arms her belly, sides and rear grow and expand, her breasts doubled in size, her muscles build, her feet shifted and changed into an extra pair of hands tearing her shoes apart, belt snapped, Overall straps popped, sleeves and overall legs ripped. Blonde Fur grew on her legs, back, sides of her belly and face, and the final changes happened on her face, her ears and muzzle shrank, nose lightened and grew and her teeth grew fangs.
The changes finally stop. Penelope took deep breaths and held her head as she staggered onto her feet.

“Oh man…” Penelope groaned. “That was rough. What just happened-whoa!” She tripped a little over her now increased body mass.

“Why do I feel so heavy? And why do I feel…” she looked down at her enlarged hands and furry arms, placed them on her big belly and gasped. She looked down and saw her feet-now-hands as best as she could. She spotted her reflection on a nearby mirror and gasped. Staring back at her was a large blonde and lavender gorilla girl in the same clothes as hers. But after some processing she realized that the gorilla was her!

“AAAAAAAAAAH!!!” Penelope screamed. She stepped back, calmed down a bit and looked at herself all over, feeling her face first. “This can’t be…My face…my ears…” she felt her hairy arms and belly. “I’m furry and huge…how is this possible?”

She wondered how this happened until she noticed a photo on another desk. Picking it up she could see it was a photo of the very same tree in this very room. Attached to it was a note.

“Gorilla gene in banana tree experiment successful. Subjects became primates after eating a big enough number of enhanced bananas?!” Penelope’s eyes widen reading that, realizing that the bananas she just ate were the cause of her transformation, said bananas were part of one of splicer’s experiments! And she stumbled onto it without knowing what it was!

“Well at least the good news is I found something that could help us defeat this guy, the bad news is i end up becoming an unintentional subject for one of his experiments.” Penelope sighed.
There were problems with her current predicament. How would she explain to the team? How would she change back to normal? She was so stressed that she grabbed an iron bar and bent it like it was a pipe cleaner.

“Whoa!” Penelope exclaimed. “I don’t just have the body of a gorilla, but the strength of one! Gosh, I’ve never felt so powerful.” She flexed her biceps in satisfaction. “I think this could come in handy.”

But she didn’t want to stick around and admire her new primate muscles too long, or else she’ll get the attention of guards. Quickly she climbs up the wall and out a window. Penelope leaps from tree branch to branch, using her massive arms to swing to and fro.

“Haha, this is kind of fun!” She giggled. “I might as well make the most of my predicament until I become a mouse again! Ook ook ah ah!” She hooted and hollered and swung like an acrobat. She stopped when she saw something bad happening down below. It was Bentley, entangled and struggling in vines!

“Bentley! Hang on!” She yelled, grabbing a vine. Thumping her chest and with a mighty Tarzan yell, she swings and grabs Bentley and his wheelchair, plucking them out of the vines.

“Penelope?!” Bentley was shocked seeing his now primate girlfriend.
“Yeah it’s me. I’ll explain once we get back to the safe house!” She said as she swung from vine to vine carrying Bentley tight.

This mission may not have gone according to plan, but at least Penelope would find her new form useful for when she gives that Dr splicer a piece of her mind.
