Hey there people
EDIT: changed some stuff around the sword (added the lightning effect)
as per the commissioner's request ^^ Here is the finished piece for my sylvari mesmer commission ^^
Had a load of fun with this
Havent tried my hand with fey-like creatures before, so it was certainly a nice opportunity :3Need to polish me environment drawing skillz xD
Anyways enjoy :3

Actually I made him a bit closer to look with the Nightmare Court XD since the Mesmer color scheme just screams to get some more menacing feel to it xD And also I think mesmers can get quite dark and menacing with sylvari ^^
Though the original char was dark skinned and black clothing anyways, so it wasnt that much of a personal touch xD
Either way the client loved it so its all good :3

Hm... yea, well then the Humans would get the short end of the stick xD Asura have the mad-scientist type Inquest, The Charr have the infamous, fire user Flame Legion, the Norn have the Svaniir (god they look cool :3), sylvari get the quite insane Nightmare Court and humans get... separatists ? oO Normal road-side bandtis most of the time with small-scale crap going on with 'em x) Ok-ok, they are terrorists, but seriously, they lack any flavour or idea
If I'd chose, it would be either Svaniir or Flame Legion :3 Tho, Nightmare court ones looks nice too :3

True! Maybe if they did so you could play the bad guys the separatists would become a bit more interesting? No? xD
I do love the Inquest and the Svanir the most, I think!
Of course, they'd never let people pick the opposing faction as the point of the game is to be a 'hero', still, it would be pretty cool. All the opposing factions are effectively terrorists in that they think they are doing the right thing, so one could still be a 'hero', just or the wrong people.
