Description I liked the watercolor portraits of Natalia Goncharova(Alexander Pushkin's wife) and I tried to draw fem!Russia in 19th century dress.
Russian fashion of the 19th century was largely borrowed from Europe, but often late. In the 1930s, after the Empire style, a traditional Russian dress was popular for some time.
Later the top of the dress was not so open, women again began to put on a lower skirt, in fashion included extended long sleeves. The upper part of the outfit still had to have a heart-shaped shape - for this a corset was worn under the dress, which was tightened as much as possible, and with a wide belt.

What a wonderful piece of work! (and such an illustrative historical note!) This is yet one of the most fascinating historical drawings of Fem!Russia I've seen. The form, the detail on the lines, and the coloring all combine into a very beautiful composition.

Btw, thank you so much for submitting your work to our group Historical-Hetalia  I hope you submit more of your works in our group in the near future

The overall style is not only muted, yet strong and clear in its presentation, but is absolutely gorgeous in the form, the detailing, etc. I just love how you drew fem!Russia. I don't tend to like Nyotalia very much in comparison to canon, but I think this is my one favourite Nyotalia concept and drawing out of all the ones I've seen.
