Description Excerpt from my AU, where Tails cloned Sonic. Again.
When Sonic just reborn, Tails cuddle with him all the time, and sang him a many lullabys.
But not only because Sonic was small and Tails very much attached to him, but also because the growth Sonic had to watch every minute, 'cause his body was very unstable after cloning.

Tails: Yes, but he is unstable for some reason.
Sky: Can I please hold him...?
Tails: Oh. Okay. *gives Sonic to Sky*
Sky: *gulps slightly then sees the little hedgehog waking up* Oh! H-hi there, lil fella...I-I'm Sky.....
*Sonic squeals in happiness as his eyes glowed the colours of the chaos emeralds* 
Tails: Wow! That is so amazing! 
Sky: Maybe he was reborn as the child of the chaos emeralds. 
Tails: Maybe... *looks at the chaos emeralds and the master emerald*
