Description a whisper and everything makes sense

soundtrack: Goldie - Sea Of Tears

I didn't expect my new scanner to be that good, fullview and die!

oil on canvas; reference
this is an expressionistic attempt, the purpose of expressionistic paintings is to enchant with unconventional devices
this picture develops most of its power while looking at it in quite a far distance to make the big pieces fall back together to the original reference
the detail is given to enjoy the unique texture of the so called 'ductus'
but, hell yeah, what am I talking about, everything you sheep accept is "photorealism", I know...

hey i really love this, i was browsing through the paintings section but then this caught my eye, and its frigging great. i would love to see it in real life to see all the texture marks, then again from this image here you can still see how much time and sweat and effort went into this. pure work and thats what i love about this, expression very vibrant with the intensity of all the oil colour

This is really amazing dude. You're an absolutely fantastic painter, and it's well expressed.

I can't stand tyring to use oil paint myself. I've always found it difficult. Well done.

thank you very much, this was like my first attempt at oil painting, the smell of it is funny, but I also found it pretty hard to paint with it, because it is so thick and sticky.

I've always wanted to try something like that... dont think it'd work out well though.

just check out the classics like Cezanne or van Gogh (although I'm sure you've seen quite a lot of at least the latter one), they have great paintings which use such expressive devices (much better and cleaner than mine), another awesome painter is Franz Marc. he painted some of the most beautiful expressionistic or in general some of the most beautiful paintings I know.
however, I was just fortunate enough to get access to lots of very good oil colors for only 5 bucks at my school.

thanks for the dropping a line
