Description I finally made my first portrait which is NOT A TRACE, it is not just painted from (on) a photo. I did it after I saw "Uncertainty" by Bren and asked her some questions about how she did it. It's been done with the gridding method and although it was pretty easy in general, I should use smaller squares next time, because they almost always were too big for my screen.

I loved this photo since I saw it the first day. Her big and beautiful eyes, her cute, little nose and her unique and desirable lips. She looks so sweet and innocent like a little girl and in the same time strong and emancipated just like the woman she really is. Her voice isn't different in those ways. Especially as I've been listening to Gling-Glo, Selma Songs and Telegram lately. Her voice can make you laugh, because it sounds so neat and childish but it can also give you a "pretty rise down your spine" when she breaks through with her whole power. I can't stop saying that line but please, suffer my desire for you. Man, I can't wait for her next album.

Again it is resized to the half of its original size for your vip-candy-ass viewing pleasure. Stock "3110-rose2" by ghostvoice used.

Thats awesome, supposed to by BjΓΆrk right? You didn't really say in your description, so I wasn't sure. Anyway, the detail is awesome. She has an amazing face. Great job.

Very nice portrait and colors and concept. But these "blacker than black" thingies around her could be made less black. And /me gives a penalty for using a grid - *bonks tap-ioca on the head*, bad boy, bad boy - don't do that again .
Anyways - very good job.

yea ive used that gridding technique before in art class and it works quite well with portraits from photos. then again that was in jr. high. i dont even have room for art now(which is a sad, sad thought)! anyways, i love how you blended the two images, it's really beautiful.

beautifull ~ the style used on her skin reminds me of 'gone with the wind' ~ her eyes came out beautifuly! Great concept.

Hm, have to look into grids...

Oh, Gling-glo is my favourite album of hers, but I lost it, and it's an import and pricey ~ can't wait to own it again...

I'm putting it on my favourites list and there's nothing you can do about it! HA!
Tell you what, the photo's simply great, but I don't like the rose much, though. Maybe a higher number of petals would be good, I don't know ^^ I guess it's just a matter of likes and dislikes ^^; Oh well, it's great anyway! So keep it up!
