Absolutely one of the best depictions of the Hydra I've ever seen. Classic and yet still evocative, beautiful, and threatening looking. Kudos to you.

That's how Hercules cried himself in the corner, hoping Zeus or Kratos (God of War) would smite this creature
Great job on the monster.

Would the increase in head count also increase the hydra's calorie requirements? Im pretty sure humans would be insufficient prey something this big

Hydra's are not known for LONG LONG tails, lol, but a very superb design I adore nonetheless!Β

Considering the hydra has a long tail in some of it's early depictions, I'd say that's not true.

Aa yes, that's right.

You know, this is a pretty great hydra design.Β I really like the fin on the tail and how long the tail is.Β it would need to be pretty long, or at least really thick, to counterbalance the weight of the heads.Β Great stuff!Β Keep up the amazing work!

SUch a wonderful depiction of a hydra! It is very well thought out and well rendered! Love the chosen colors.
I had an interesting thought. What if Hydras had their brains in their torso, and the heads just had small ganglions, like an octopus! Would solve the coordination issue! Though that can also be fun to play with.

A trick I find works is to have the head laid out in a pattern so they fit together nicely. Thatβs part of the reason why I have the middle set of heads spaced out a bit more than the top and bottom set. It allowed the necks to connect a little more naturally rather than just having them stacked. (Itβs saves a little on space as well)Β
