Description
Here is my take on the Black Queen. The Black Queen is a name that has been associated with half a dozen female leads in the Marvel Universe at different points in time, but this version is intended to be Jean Grey.

Honestly I've never been big on going greyscale to start off with, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing this. It is certainly easier to get a feel for your shading in greyscale. I painted in the main body using a photo for reference then altered different parts of it.

I added the rose in her hair at the last second, I knew something was missing.
