Description Here's my newest one. Finally a drawing again. I whish I would have a better scanner to present you the real look, but I think this has to be enough for taking a look on it. The only thing that's manipulated is the white backround, cuz I deleted the scan artefacts that looked too bad.

materials:

- 0.7 Faber-Castell Pencil
- white paper
- very old scanner
- Paint Shop 4 killing scan failures of the backround

reference:

- Pulp Fiction Video Cover

Used just one pencil 4 it and believe me that was very hard, cuz with this kind of pencil you have to draw every point seperate. So this took me ages, but I think it was worth to spend some time 4 it. Tried to combine realistic and comic elements, especially because the Tarantino characters have something comic like 4 theirselves.

nice work on the sheets, clothin, everything seems to be in proportion, some critic tho:
the smoke is awful, the face is ok but doesnt look like Mia, and well.... the gun has no detail at all....
just those little mistakes u might wanna correct, but overall is a decent piece.... and is great that you like Pulp Fiction cause I LOVE IT!!!

Wow. Very nice. The only thing that looks off is her left hand. However, after taking an art class, and seeing how horrible I am with a pencil, and that it's certainly nothing easy, I can really appreciate anyone who can draw something so lifelike. The bed, and the pillow, and just everything, very real. Wonderful job.

I really like the mix of comic and realistic elements. Especially for this subject. Your shading style is wonderful as well. It gives the image a glossy, glamorous feel that is very fitting. The detail and shadowing in the folds of material is really great.

wow this is very good, i knew exactly what and who it was from the thumb!! anyway the detailed shading and everything is amazing, i especially like her shoes and clothes, i don't think the actual face looks too much like uma thurman i think its the nose, but its still recognizable, anyway yeh i loved that film and this is real good as well!!!

Ownage. Time well spent. Try leaving the artifacts in next time, one of my best drawings in charcoal has tomato soup spilled onto one corner. Cheers.

argh!! i still can't see the full version
guess i'll just have to make do with the smaller version. anyways, this is an awesome drawing! the legs (including the shading on the dress on her thighs) and heels are just amazing as many others have said, and omfg! how long did that bedspread take you!? great drawing

WOW! Incredible bold shading! She looks really great, you captured the look on her face, her expression, very well! I love her legs and the heels, very realistic in pose and shading. Her left hand, the one on the book, is the only one that does not look quite right. She needs more flesh on the fingers to cover those bones! Your wrinkles in the cloth of the bedspread and her clothing are FABULOUS, I'm quite jealous of your talent in that area! And with the stripes on the bedspread too, that must have taken you hours to say the least! But your patience with this piece certainly payed off, for it has a unified and dazzling look. Her hair is lovely as well, it looks quite realistic. Bravo!
