Inspired by a scene from Chapter 15 of the story "Custody", by Rena Redhead over on FF.net, where Robin and Starfire are going on their first date.AWESOME story by the way; I really recommend it. It's Robin-centric and it's got everything! Action, angst, romance, brilliant writing, Slade's mind games, cameos by the Justice League... Be warned it also has quite a bit of character death-I once joked in my reviews that she was planning on killing off the whole DCU. None of the Titans bite it, as far I know. *crosses fingers and hopes Rena is merciful to the Titans* Here's the link if you're interested: [link]
Anyway, the chapter's called "The Princess and the Squire" ('cause you know, Star's the princess of Tamaran and Robin's the protege of the Dark KNIGHT. Get it?) and it was one of my favorites. And the description of when Robin came to the hotel to pick up Starfire for the date was just WAY too pretty not to draw.

I can finally comment! Yeah! Tari, you so rock. I have to say, I still love that one scene. I feel like it was one of the rare times where I could have Robin be perfectly happy. And Starfire too for that matter! It's not often that Superheroes get that, lol. So yeah, you rock for drawing it, thank you! Stay awesome!

It's a really cool story. I love it. It's in-progress but Rena's usually really good about updating on a regular basis so new chapters should be up every week or every other week or so.
