Sketch from an OLD doodling session back when I was bored during class. Apparently I was in a shippy mood that day. The two facing pages wound up having uh... quite a bit of shipping drawings on 'em by the time I was finished. (Couple more Rob/Star, one BB/Rae, couple generic pose studies, a Maiko.)I affectionately dubbed that little section my "Romance pages".
Anyway, cleaned up the doodle in Paint and got rid of all the annoying blue lines, then printed it out, colored it, scanned it back into the computer and did a few more touch-ups. Came out nicely.
Originally my thought behind this was just, "Robin and Starfire in a passionate-looking kiss." Kinda feels like it needs a story behind it though.
Let's pretend Robin and Starfire were in the middle of a heated argument and Robin finally couldn't stand the sexual tension anymore and abruptly pinned Star against the wall and kissed her. Which probably ends the argument, lol.

Officially the explanation is that I just forgot about it in the drawing process. We'll pretend it came off sometime during the argument or something.

OOH!! I love it! But Star's right arm (the bottom part) seems a bit peachy. Not tanned. Maybe its cuz I didn't clean my glasses this morning... Still, your coloring syle is really cute! Fave

No, I think I can see that too. Don't know why it came out slightly lighter, it was colored correctly in the actual drawing.

I have a textbook filled with eye doodles. Dunno why, but I tend to draw eyes whenever I have paper nearby. I think it's mostly because I'm too embarassed to draw something more detailed...I'm a closet DC fan.

Oh my gosh me too! I doodle eyes all the time. Like that and hair and random poses are my three most common boredom doodles.
I also tend to do a lot of flowers for some reason.

That must be annoying...I hate it when I draw on grids and I have to get rid of lines.
XD No wonder your poses are near-perfect!! I really need more practice on that, I tend to draw a lot of faces but not a lot of poses.
