Description
This an oil painting I did a few years back, prob one of my personal favs, it has all the elements I like, creatures crazy colors and action. I think thats what I enjoy the most is depicting a scene that is action packed, but not only that but trying to capture that perfect moment in the scene or story making you feel uneasy or like something is about to happen and it wont be pretty.Those are normal sized children on the creatures back, the horse-like creature and wolves are biggg.

Very cool! I miss oil painting. Unfortunately, working commercially often demands one work digitally, because of the inevitable tweaks one will be asked to make (clients now feel they can ask for the most radical changes, since they assume everyone works digitally). Don't stop oil painting!

this is a fantastic painting. i love the scene that you have depicted and the creatures look fierce and ready for battle. while the children look absolutely frightened. i also love the eyes of the creatures. especially the one with the ice blue eyes.

I love the epic feel of mid battle art, this picture speaks to me in that it's steeped in creative fantasy, like the normal sized children upon a very much larger animal, I though it looked very creative and unusual, that's what cought my attention originally, along with the vibrant colors.

That is a REALLY awesome picture. I like how it tells a story, and I'm totally captivated by the horse-thing. I really love the design of the creature, especially the mane. I would love to read a story about this, I think.
