Description
Done for a "good friend", and she will know who she is once she see's it. Now don't say I never did anything for you.
wasn't sure where this should be going so I placed it here. enjoy.
Photo reference was used, done in PS-7
(sorry for the sucky background I couldn't think of anything snazzy to to do it so I use the CD cover for inspiration (sp?))

thanks, and I did look at the link, nothing wrong with it, if your just starting out, it looks like you got a decent start. I would sya to keep going and just look at what your trying to do and try to match it as close as possable with out taking away from your own creativity. Good luck with your art work. keep going.

one thing thgouh, how did you get the patter on the cothes so damn good?

I drew them one, and lowered the opasity so they wouldn't stand out so much them burned the ends where the shadows would be. it's simple really.

Lol! Did you noticed that in the movie, one side of Willy's hair, is longer than the other?

no I didn't, but he did have his head tilted alot so that may be why it looked that way.

I like it. It looks almost real. It is better than your Lestat pic and that was pretty good. His eyebrows look kinda rushed, but it still looks good. I could have sworn I had you on my Dev watch.... I will do that now.

aww, it's not hard to do...I followed a tutoiral to learn how to do that. but unforuntially that tut is not longer on the web. 
it's not hard to do honeslty, if you think about it. If I can do it, then anyone can, cause I'm a morron when it comes to painting people.
but I'm proud of this one cause it came out 10x better then the Jack Sparrow one that I did of him. it's in the scraps if you want to see it. it's horrid.

oh the problem with me is not really the painting, but the drawing o_0 i can't draw realitic human o_0 i already tried like 10 time to do Wonka but i failed .. so i did him in anim style

aww you need to stop..we all do art in our own way that's what makes us all different. I can't draw people either, but I can draw dragons in less then a hour. but drawing a person. forget it. so I don't even try. LOL I cna do them if I have a photo reference and on the computer, but by hand forget it. not happing...LOL so don't sweat the small stuff. Your art is good, and be proud of that fact.
