I am splitting my time between Tarot Cards, Short Film, part-time work to pay the bills, and commissions.I had to do this just to unwind.

I have not seen the series, but I've read several of the books. The first panel is sort of like, "Pfft. Yeah. That's familiar. Guess the series is pretty similar." The second panel is sort of, ". . . ?" The third is, "Eric? Viking Eric? . . . Eric?"
Now I'm most curious and want to watch the series, just to know what the heck is going on.
But even not knowing, this still made me laugh.

im on the same boat as well i've read four of the books so far (in the last week actually) and i am anxious to watch the show but as far as i can tell they have very little in common. and the show doesn't have Bubba!! i love Bubba XDD

OMG the only thing I could think of when i saw the third panel was that Eric seemed like a mix of three characters that Alexander has played, one is a rather cynical and slutty but yet in the hearts of hearts romantic guy in the swedish movie The Dogsomething that I can't remember(Hundtricket) and a rather depressed and neurotic former male turned woman from an american movie which name i can't remember and his version of one of his old schools mascots Nisse natur who is a silly treehugging dork whos arch nemesis is Ture Teknik that he did for a group of students who wanted a celeb to make a appereance on their schoolshow the NT-Show. I myself didn't go to that school but I had friends who did and I can tell you that I just laughed myself silly when I saw the clip they had with him. Imagine SkarsgΓ₯rd with a pair of ugly thights and ugly tshirt and a pair of wellingtons and a ugly hat and while wearing this skippin around with a truly silly expression on his face. Tried to find the clip on youtube without any result, but then again its been a while since they did that particular show where he made his guest appearence. And just because you mention it I had to look up the Yes dance on youtube and I am pretty sure I laughed up a lung when i saw it and then saw Eric doing that in my head.

All the people on my hall love this show. I'm sorry but vamps (excluding the BtVS ones) have been killed for me. I like the fact that they still need to be invited into your house though. That's one thing they have going for them. And they don't sparkle but other then that . . . Its a soap opera with a lot of sex that is saved by the acting.
