Rene always made the missions infinitely easier when you could have him go undercover and distract the Nazis.

Jerry Mac Hale "Tiny", the Green Beret, is American, but wears his beret with insignia on the right, French style. His way to say hello to his French teammate ?

Nice to see fanart as well made as this one about this game series.

Well, I drew Jerry (Jack 'the Butcher' O'Hara) as he wears it in Commandos 2 & 3, and in every picture I've seen of him.
No affense, but I understood that the Green Beret is Irish, according to the notebook of Comm2. And his accent doesnt sound so American to me, too... '

Yupp, I love Commandos games, so I got to do same fanart of it, and will do more!
You've got any done yet, pal? I really wish to see some if you have Β

Alas, I'm not a drawer, honestly. So it's probably better, for the sake of this site, if I not publish any drawing of mine. Really :d

Oh ? Jerry's Irish ? I didn't remember that. I played the French version. I guess his voice in that one didn't have the right accent to fit his nationality. Or maybe I'm referring to the notebook of version 1 ? I can't remember, it was so much time ago. Good theme tunes for those games, particularly the intro, the main screen and the end film, for both the firsts versions.

Hm, what a shame :/ well, if not drawings, then good ideas and topics for fanart are also welcome

French version sounds really interesting! I have only English versions, so it's pretty hard to imagine different voices for the characters.. Tiny has such charismatic Irish accent, it gives me the chills.

Β The tunes of the games are awesome! It's been long time since I've played the first games, I have to find them and play them through again. All I remember is that those games were really challenging!Β

Jack O'Hara ? Did he change names between versions ? Because, in "Commando : Behind enemy lines", his full identity is Jerry McHale., but he's still Irish. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commando...

"All I remember is that those games were really challenging! "
You bet, it is. I remember I knew when I started a Commando-session, but never when I would finish it.

.. and he seemed to have changed his nickname from 'Tiny' to 'Butcher', too Β xD Β radical!!

Novadays I'm really into Destination Berlin, which might be becouse of the graphics and sounds. When Comm4 came out, I wished there would've been at least some of the characters of the past parts. It'd been awesome to play with Duke, Tiny, Brooklyn, Frenchy etc. in COD-style!
