I don't know what to call the species (suggestions are welcome) but these are the animals Cirrus shares the mountains with.

Walking with the animal (Breeya) is Finn.
A re-do of this character [link] Shark. I'd forgotten about Shark, but he's pretty cool, I've made a few adjustments. Born with a withered arm, he struggles to fit in with a society that revolves around physicality. He could move to Stratus and become a monk but there's something about the mountainside.
He works as a mechanic, instructing Fledglings on how to fix their own wings.
The red beads tied around his feet and neck are charms to ward off physical harm.

He spends so much time exploring Cirrus's surrounding lands the animals don't take any notice of him. Some even come along for a stroll.
