Day 5 was Night; day 6 was Day.
Okay so I have never tried to do stained glass windows before, and I think it might be a while before I try again, I dunno. This whole piece took over six hours (sketch and digital work combined) because I was doing things I'd never in my whole life tried to do before, so it was trial-and-error beginning to end.
Also I need to say this to somebody because it's been rattling around in my head for months: either I've managed to completely misunderstand what exactly happened between the Hollingsworths and the Shephards, or else "The Howling" by Within Temptation fits so perfectly that it could have been intentionally written for it [warning: the song is symphonic metal genre, so if you're not keen on that style you might not want to follow the link].

WOW. The shading and the lighting is soooo cool. I'm also really enjoying the different pairs you picked for the prompts.

That looks so cool! I like the way the pencil looks like the black glaze they use to shade real stained glass.

Thanks!! When I scanned the sketch so I could add the color, I was originally planning on erasing the pencil lines, but then I realized it actually worked better with them still there. Accidental success...
