Description

After the events of the Ancestral Gem arc, Tash and Pink take a vacation to the long west to a nice place that lives in cowboy times. There they learn about the Steel Ball Race which is being held by the mayor Funny Valentine. Tash has her suspicions on the very pale man but brushed it off as him not getting much sun but unknown to them was that he was a gem known as Ivory. Since he knew about Tash and Pink's powers when they are Taaffeite, he sends out his right hand gem Diego Brando the Blue and Yellow Dragon Blood Jasper (Duh duh duh) to capture them. Since this Blood Jasper is the reincarnation of DIO the Blood Jasper, he wants revenge on both the gem and will do more than just capture them, he will shatter them! Using his stand Scary Monsters, Diego sent out a horde of raptors to corner the gems but they were rescued by the cowboy gems Johnny the Red Opal and Gyro the Steel Ore. Diego ran away before the pair can catch him but they did made allies with Tash and Pink.

Johnny the Red Opal's theme: Fleetwood Mac- Tusk

Johnny Joestar is a Red Opal and is the long lost Joestar. Like Giorno, he is different from the rest of the family as he was suppose to be a blue opal and not red but he circled around the sun way too much. The result of this was his red colour and the heat of the sun cracked his gem. So when he landed of Earth in the western area where the cowboys lived, he formed without the use of his legs and his left eye pupil was missing. Despite being paralyzed from the waist below, Johnny can still move around but with the use of his hands and his stand which was made during his time around the sun, Tusk. But since nobody never offered to help him, he had social issues then and became cold towards the humans. But when he met Gyro Zeppeli the Steel Ore gem, his social skills have improved but he is cold towards humans. If his gem weren't cracked, his summon weapon would be a pair of western guns but thanks to Gyro's teachings of the spin technique, Johnny can use his fingernails as bullets. They can be used to summon his stand Tusk which comes in ACT I, II, III and IV forms. His powers are Pyrokinesis and Geokinesis but that ability is only limited to sand and due to his cracked gem, his pyrokinesis can go out of control. Also, due to his cracked gem, he is unable to fuse with any gem.

Gyro the Steel Ore's theme: AC/DC- Ballbreaker

Gyro Zeppeli is a steel ore gem that was made on Homeworld for one purpose; construction. Because his gem kind, the steel ores, were big and muscular, he was the only one that was small and thin. Mind you though, he was a gemling at that time and during Yellow Diamond's reign, any gemling is put to work immediately after their birth, no education, learning, just work. Gyro didn't want that, on Homeworld he felt trapped. So he ran away from Homeworld via a escape pod and landed in Italy where the Zeppelis took him in as one of their own. It was his adopted brother Caesar Zeppeli that named him Julius Caesar Zeppeli but Gyro nicknamed himself Gyro for short which the family laughed it off. He had a great relationship with Caesar even when Gyro's stand Ball Breaker came to be and Caesar finished his Hamon training, the pair would exchange abilities. It was that relationship that cause Caesar to develop his Stand Ra though it was in a misty phase. But when Gyro heard of Caesar's death, it affected him greatly, so greatly that he left Italy to live in the USA in the cowboy area. There he honed both his stand and hamon/spin abilities and even discovered his gem powers which are similar to Peridots', the ability to manipulate metal. It was this ability that help him in the creation of his steel balls with he uses for his spin techniques. He is a good friend to Johnny but he never wants to talk about his past especially when Homeworld is involved (As he never took place in the Yellow Diamond rebellion or Amestrian War). His gem/metal is on his chest under the clothes which is in the shape of a oval and his summon weapon is a flail but he has ditched that weapon for his spin balls and his stand Ball Breaker. His gem abilities are super strength (His gem kind's main ability) and super speed thanks to his thin figure. But his most strong ability is his Ferrokinesis, the power to manipulate metal. His Ferrokinesis is much stronger than Perry's (Steven Unverse/Anime Gems' Peridot) own ferrokinesis. A running gag with Gyro is that he would sing about Pizza and Mozzarella as they are his favourite foods. When he fuses with Tash, they become Blue Steel while their stands fuse to becoming Wreaking Ball while his fusion with Pink Spinel is Pink Steel.
