Description
This is my first attempt at digital painting.I know it sucks, but that was kind of the idea. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone, even if that means making lots of mistakes along the way.
I did this because I need more practice with Photoshop. I need to make sure I develop a certain level of control with my tablet so I can achieve the right effect on a computer.
I'll also do more pencil sketches because I'm already used to that medium, so with that I can focus more on proportions, lighting, perspective, and other important aspects of art.

You've got an eye for colour and detail, and I can just tell that you'd go far with shading. Just keep applying yourself, and you can get wherever you desire to be! I sure as hell believe in you!

Basically my plan right now is to learn realism, then to look at different styles to adapt my skills into my own sort of style. I started doing some reading, and I think I should learn the basics of anatomy, lighting, etc., before I go into any one "style".

I'm not really trying to change right now, but I should eventually. Perspective and lighting isn't really my forte... it's something we all need to learn though. =[ Darnit.
