She has spent most of her childhood and early teenage years in hospitals or at home because of her frail state and having to depend most often than not on the help of others. It wasn't until getting away from home she broke a bitfree from the overprotectiveness from her parents who wanted her to only be home and not move around if possible, but she had other thoughts. She wanted to live as normal as she could even if it ment to be in her wheelchair from
time to time or be back at a hospital bed.
Because of her situation she also studies about quirks and evolution, searching for ways to be able to live better and more normal without daily pain or suffering.

Meeting Kai Chisaki: They met during a free lecture about quirks and their evolution during the generations and they started to talk about their opinions, ideas and points of views or theories. Together, Kai becomes even more
passionate about finding a "cure" to get rid of quirks that not only would give health problems to their porters but could also be too dangerous over time. They study together various ways and forms to find a solution, mostly because of
Nesh situation, since he started to feel for her and wanted to help her as soon as possible to free her from the pain. He would do anything for that end, even if it ment to go sometimes against the law and move around in
grey areas behind her back.
