My pencil got carried away in one of my sketchbooks today and this happened

its no particular pony (though I have posted a miniature version of a pony who does have some relevance). This is the full size, original one, though.

So, interesting story:

I sketched and rendered this in my sketchbook, fought with the scanner until it worked and then printed out a copy of the sketch, probably twice the size, which I then coloured in. So this is around A5 size, but the original sketch is uncoloured and half that. I then scanned back in the printed out and coloured image and tweaked some of the contrasts in PS. (That's probably why the edges of light look a tad green rather than yellow...)

And tadah

Don't ask me what breed she is. She's a pony, but there's a bit of refinement in her head despite the fuzzy legs, so I'm guessing she's a cross.

Sorry it's not Lakewood (I didn't plan this at all, really) but hey - it was fun to draw a horse again

Time - a couple of hours all together?
