This is a project i had with , he got this wonderful ink work done by Joseph Michael Linsner and he got the oportunity to ask Joe if he would let me add the coloring. I've been a member of the linsner.com forums for quite a while now and i had the oportunity to post my art from time to time, so at least Joe knew who was going to do such thing.Scott and i shared millions of emails before i finally got the drawing in my hands, it was such a great experience to be able to touch a Linsner original! after all, he is one of my favorite artists of all times.
I had to concentrate and ask for a higher power to help me so i would not ruin it, i could have died if something happened to this drawing. But after a while i just said "fuck it" just do it! no eating sandwiches and drinking coffee or water all over the working area, it was difficult
But at the end all went well.If i just tell you how many interruptions i had just when i decided to start painting it, you wouldn't believe me.
But here it is, the piece went back to his former owner and Joe already said it was great, he said it's great!!!
So please this is a very personal work, i enjoyed it very much, i hope this wont spread arround the web without permission from Joe, it has a watermark all over it, so if we ever find this on ebay or somewhere else used without
permission you are dead

Está muy bien, tu estilo de coloreado suave se adapta muy bien a las líneas más fuertes del dibujo. Sobre todo se ve muy bien el pelo. ^^
Me pregunto cómo me sentiría de tener un original de Brian Froud en las manos...

When the thumb. first started to load, I said to myself "Hey, this looks like a Linsner piece.."
I wouldn't've been suprised if he did this himself. But, wow!

Thor!! My neighbor's husky is named Thor, she is a sweetie, but she loves to kill groundhogs and rip them to shreds...good girl.

Ground hogs are nasty, especially the one we last caught. He was a nasty bugger, he chased me. Then there was another nasty one that Thor killed for us, it was a little horrific.

I personally like them, I mean there was an elderly one that we affectionately called "Pappy Ground Hog" I loved him, I could pet him and he was really nice, I used to pet him unti he died one day. Then about a year ago, I was outside watering my dad's lilac bush and out a nowhere this stupid ground hog started hissing at me and bit be before I could do anything. I whacked it over the head and it let go and I had to get a rabie shot and then my dad shot it and we took it to animal control and they said it had rabies and I had to get all kinds of crap done, so now I'm not fond of them, but I still like them.
