Description
This was done for a member of Mist Meadows, Bex. It is her young stallion Erebus, son of her mare Slimfoot and Dreamer's stallion Hades. Erebus has the power to control shadows and teleport by entering a shadow realm. Hopefully she likes it. This actually only took a couple hours to make and I made it half asleep at 2 am xDCredits:

Well thought out, well composed, ever so slightly disturbing. I like that you've chosen to chosen to place the horse dead centre, which gives both symmetry to the image and puts the horse in the spotlight. To me it appears that the viewer in the image has stumbled upon this creature in the dark, and stopped dead in his tracks. That partly advanced front hoof suggests the horse itself has done the same. I would possibly have liked the light diffusing through the trees to be just a little, well, darker - this is clearly intended to be a very dark image, both visually and aesthetically. The horse-in-a-dark-forest setting reminds me a little of the movie Sleepy Hollow, in that it's sinister while having a little bit of an incredulity (like the Headless Horseman) about it. Overall, great composition and an unsettling imagery. As it should be.
