I think this is the only good shot I've ever gotten of a poison dart frog. Usually the glass is too dirty or misted with water. Glad you liked it and thanks for the

Thanks for your wonderful comments. I use digital and the Sony cameras are known for their saturated colors. Some don't like that, but I do. I'm glad you like my photos.

Thanks! When was the last time you've been to the Toledo Zoo? Lots of good photo opps there. They have baby Louie, the baby african elephant and he is just adorable and full of mischief. They just opened the new safari area, not the best one I've seen, but I think after all the grass grows in it might look better. Plus the bald eagles, I've gotten a lot of nice shots of them. I'm going to have to get up there soon.

I havent been to the zoo in about a year. I had heard about the safari exhibit and wanted to get out there. Perhaps next weekend will be the time.

YEY FROG, too bad it was blue... im not a big fan of blue... to high frequency for me... i like red and greens. but its still pretty. nice shot.

Thanks Larry. If it will make you feel any better, they are not as toxic in captivity as they are out in the wild. Something that is missing in their diet.

the toxins in the frog arent as harmful as most think when they hear POISON... it wont kill a lot of healthy, peak-aged people. only the young, old, and impaired need worry TOO much.

Thanks! This was taken through glass. I use a polorizer filter when shooting through glass to keep from getting reflections.
