I am posting this especially for *GeodeLady A while back she posted a picture of a centipede (Johnnie Many-Legs) that her husband brought home as a gift for her. LOL I think I would have prefered candy or flowers but hey, it's the thought that counts, right??
Anyways, I was telling her about this Giant Centipede that they had at the Cincinnati Zoo. I guess these things can get to be about a foot long and the one they had was not that far from that. So, I told her I would find a picture I took of it and post it for her. To me it doesn't matter whether it's an inch long or a foot long, they all give me the willies!

Nice shot, that's one creepy creature. It looks almost like something from a horror movie, especially considering the size. The picture might be even better if it provided something to scale the critter with.
