Literally what’s weong with the game? It’s cute, it’s funny, it’s fun, why are do many people hating on it? I genuinely don’t get it, maybe because I’ve been dorment from the internet for like.. 2 years

The hate mainly comes from the fandom. A lot of people only shits on the game because of the vocal, obssesive, and idiotic minority; and their cringy videos, fanart, fetishes and ships, among other stuff that irritate and disgust them (tho Undertale is not the only thing with that kind of fandom minority). Other reason would be they were hella tired of hearing how Undertale is the best game ever, like a gift of the gods, from the obssesive fanboys over and over again non-stop
It is sad, really, as the game offers a wonderful experience and we have artists like TC-96 who makes really cute fanart

EXACTLY!!!!!! Games/movies/tv shows/(WHATEVER) are still things that many people like and watch even when stopped being made! It just is more popular at a certain time and the fandoms loses some people but it's NOT DEAD!!!!!

FFVII was already a bit old when i got into it at age 11, at age 21 i finally 'got over it' when ppl were going nuts for ff12 or something... you love what you love and it there shouldn't be a time limit on love!
I got into the Undertale fandom in august 2018 - 3 years late! - but if i had been there at the beginning i wouldn't have walked in on the SURPLUS OF GREAT ART, ANIMATION, SONG REMIXES, that were already there for me to dive into. The fact that there is SO MUCH blew my mind and literally pulled me out of my chronic depression and inspired me to draw again. I have become obsessed but it makes me so happy and i have improved my art, made new friends, have new songs to sing - and when life get's difficult i just think "I AM FILLED WITH DETERMINATION" and i see Frisk clutching at the save point in that really awesome animation by v0idless and i just get the music back in my head and I think PAPYRUS BELIEVES IN YOU and SANS CAN DO IT so DON'T FORGET we all have family and friends who do care and if all else fails just WATCH A BIT OF COMIC DUBS or Undertale Crack or even indulge in a bit of SHIPPING FOR THE SOUL!!!
*ahem* and so what if i'm the n00b. All y'all had to wait 3 years for new content and i just waited 3 months and suddenly there was Deltarune! Hahaha i think i'm going to be here a long while

I really love the Mother series and some Harvest Moon games
Twilight Princess is still my favorite Zelda game with Ocarina of Time being in second.
Games shouldn't really be "outdated" or "dead" they still exist and are still loved(and fun to play/draw)
Dunno why people get mad over people's preferences when we all like things in our own way but I guess that's just how it is

I'm never one to just abandon a game even when the hype has died down or if the fandom hasn't been as active. =w= But I don't think undertale is even going to die anytime soon, ESPECIALLY when the game got ported to the Switch recently.
