20 mins, photoshop cs, wacom.

tell me how did you get this result of your drawing...

did you use markers? pens? pencils??

i can't get this kind of texture and this kind of shadows and lights... please tell me... i'm starting at this art of drawing and it'd be great if you help me with this technique...

Uh, it's just a low opacity brush in photoshop for the shades and a full black for the lines. Varing brush widths.

Awesome! This is totally awesome! I guess you could say I'm a hardcore EVA fan, so this immediately caught my attention. I only have a couple of sketches, and they both suck. If you feel like it, check them out.... Thanks

I checked out your pics btw, and they aren't as bad as you say (i almost didn't find em at 1st though, hehe). If you clean up the lines and work on your anatomy a bit they'll be awesome

Ah, you'll have to show me the technique some time. The whole speed-drawing concept seems alien to me, I always strain myself over every little bit (which is why I am so slow ). Do you use a picture for reference at all?

It's a shame I can't see how you do it real-time. Again, well done.

For this one i didn't use a picture, but i've been looking at pictures of evangelion non stop for the past week so it's kinda burned into my retinas. Also don't worry, seeing as we live so eerily close together i'm sure i could show you sometime in the future.

I've also been wanting to try out a WACOM Graphire Hehe

I have seen half of one of the Evangelion animes a LONG time ago (so can't remember anything about it apart from some huge kick ass... THING with a skull face). I bet it's great to have such a good memory; This piece gets more impressive the more you tell about it

You should really watch eva, it's very good but gets awfully serious nearer the end you get. I've got the entire series on dvd (cost me an arm and a leg though, but it was worth it) so i've seen it a few times, so there's no wonder the design is embedded in my head ^^
