At the end of the fictional nineteenth century.......I made a real ass of an OC.

Honestly, Gail. You don't have friends because you go out of your way to disconcert everyone you speak with. Then no one wants to be friends with you.

A long while ago (too long ago. I'm so sorry!) asked me to draw our D. Gray Man OCs ready to fight, or just chilling together. When I found out Rei was a reader, this little scene popped into my head. Gail's probably been lying there for hours, leg off and all, waiting for someone to stop by so she can spoil the ending to whatever they're reading. Poor Rei probably just wanted to find Jane Eyre and a well-deserved bit of peace and quiet after a mission.

D. Gray man is an awesome manga. If you ask me the Black Order is just asking for be populated by gorgeous OCs - Rei is one of them. I loved drawing her (especially her hair!). She has a beautiful design, even if it's not on proper display here, and her personality is lovely too. She's in love with Kanda, and they make an adorable couple imho. I advise checking out 's gallery - it's full of wonderful art!

I also think I figured out what Gail's innocence does. It's a poisoned sword - the akuma experiences increasingly vivid hallucinations of Gail's past near-death experience. Eventually, the akuma is left in complete sensory deprivation...but only eventually. The more advanced the akuma, the longer it takes. Gail tends to work alone, in long, drawn-out battles because she's too contrary to ask for help. or is that too OP. I've never made a fan character before
