Another martial arts cartoon series that may not been known so well is Shaolin Wuzang or Shaolin Kids from 2006. It deals with three kids that learn at Shaolin and fight against the demon Heihu.
I knew the series since 2017/2018 and the story and scenery are impressive; the coming of age part is okay to watch (some face-palm parts where you see that the characters are only 12, 13 years old) but sad is that the story is not round after the 26 episodes :/ But maybe there will be a sequel that finishes the story against Heihu...
The original artwork captures a grown-up Hua, one of the main characters with some muscular build and her whip in a nice spring to summer scenery
The recoloring process was fun but rather difficult with her clothes and hair ^^''' but I think that the sky and gras came out really nice
