The magician's gaze hardened onto Buddy, "it's all just a trick...Just a cheap show to reap in cash."
"Crushed are you, if you still want to do the job..." explained the alakazam showing slight weakness "then accept the fact."
The words hit Buddy like knives, he looked at the magician crushed. At once the grown mon looked away and saw a piece of equipment. He paused then remembered "listen you get paid, you just have to grow up."
"i...just thought... if magic existed it could" he hunted for the right, strong words but he couldn't find them in his crushed hopes. "Nevermind..."
The alakazam looked at Buddy by the corner of his eye, picturing his past self. He reluctantly said "come on now Buddy, it's time to train."
The alakazam taught Buddy every trick, everything Buddy used to call magic. From trap doors to flying, it burnt in the fun loving lopunnies ears.
Meanwhile Robin was 'happily' washing the windows, the hours passed like trying to evolve a magikarp. He washed every window, seeing unpleasent things every were he cleaned. Not to mention going skydiving when the machop forgets about him.
As the flames of the day turned into ashes Buddy got his costume. The white shirt lay there on the sofa of the dressing room, he bounced over and sat down looking at it. He thought of his dad telling him about how magic came from the heart. Now he could say something back to him, IT WAS FAKE. Electronics, cheap, money mostly... 'The money, oh yeah. Tao needs it' he thought sliding the shirt on. 'All for Tao... They need it... Real magic... fake magic...'

So, the wartortle is cleaning windows, witnesses a bisharp murder someone, gets screamed at by a jynx, nearly gets hit by a bottle, has to put up with a chatterbox partner, and nearly falls off the platform?
