News of what happened to the pridelands obviously spread to their neighbours and even further. Finally after so long the Great Pridelands were at peace with no threats against them. The pridelands was an old pride, said to be one of the first prides to work in unity with the herds of their lands. It had at one point set and example for the rest of the savanna; to have that pride returned to it's former glory was clearly a good omen.

With the threat finally destoryed King Kopa of the Westernlands suggested to his pride that they return to their home. The Westernlands having become a pride because of Scar's reign. Queen Penda was more than happy with her mates decision, for him to feel comfortable enough for return to the pridelands showed a progress on his part. For most of his life Kopa had been scared of the pridelands and what they could hold watching Zira attack his sister and then come after Kopa himself had left the young lion with nightmares, even in the Westernlands he had worried about his safety and often woke up frightened.

The Westernlanders stood at the edge of the pridelands Pesa and Uzuri sat with their mother and father "My home..." Kopa mused. Pesa's ears pinned back "But didn't you say that the pridelands were dangerous?" Kopa shook his head "Not anymore, all of the bad lions are gone the pridelands have peace and as their closest neighbour it is our job to congratulate them on their victory." Uzuri was looking on with intrigue "You were born here? It's so big and look at that big rock!" Kopa laughed softly "I was born in these lands to their Queen at the time, Nala. That big rock is called Pride rock and it's where we are going. However-" Kopa turned his attention to Penda and the rest of his pride "I want everyone to stay here, my mother sent a message too use that Kiara is wary of strangers, an entire pride approaching her territory probably isn't a good idea."

Pesa squeaked and wrapped her arms around her father leg "Don't let her hurt you daddy." Kopa nuzzled his daughter and gave her cheek a kiss "Easy now Pesa, Kiara is my sister she won't hurt me. But I need to introduce us, what would I do if a pride suddenly entered our lands?" Pesa nodded seeming to calm a little. She had always been a cautious cub. Nuzzling both his daughters he whispered "I'll be back soon don't worry girls."

Kopa made his way towards priderock, he heard a lot of the animals talking, saying that they didn't recognise him and someone should alert the Queen. It did make Kopa a little anxious, despite his reassurances to his daughters he had heard just how fragile Kiara was. Hopefully she would listen before she cast her judgement on him.

Kopa was halfway to priderock when a roar echoed around him a stern voice growled "Not another step outsider!" Kopa stopped in his tracks as he noticed three lioness approaching him, he reconfigured at least one of them "Maua?" the golden lioness smiled "Kopa!" the lioness with blue eyes and a hair tuft blinked a few times "Kopa as in... Nala's son that Zira-" Maua nodded "Long story, you didn't meet Kopa the last time he was here. Vitani this is your half-brother Kopa. Kopa this is your half-sister Vitani." Kopa was surprised "Half-sister? Nala-" Maua cleared her throat "Vitani is the daughter of Scar and Nala." Kopa nodded knowing that it would most likely be a painful subject. The other lioness gestured to Kopa "We should take him to priderock." The two lioness nodded. Kopa cleared his throat "Wait, I came with my family and my pride, will they be welcome?" Maua nodded "Of course! Kiara knows the Westernlanders are friends. Go fetch them and we will arrange for Kiara to meet with you in the den."

Kopa lead his pride to the foot of priderock where Kiara greeted him "Kopa!". Kopa bowed as he addressed this sister "Queen Kiara of the Pridelands. Thank you for allowing myself and my pride to see you." Kiara's eyes widened even if she was still smiling "Your pride?" Kiara quickly schooled her expression and bowed to the other lion "I welcome you and your pride, your highness for as long as you need." Kopa ran over and nuzzled Kiara. The lioness in question laughing "Okay, okay I missed you too Kopa. Mother can't wait to see you."

Kopa turned to look at Penda and his cubs "Pesa, Uzuri I want you to meet your ante Kiara." The two cubs stepped forward Uzuri clearly more eager than her sister. Kiara was grinning as she cooed over the cubs "Oh Kopa they're adorable, they're yours. Oh look my big brother and his family. Mom's gonna love them!" Kiara's gushing seemed to help the anxious Pesa. The rest of the Westernlanders went to the den to reunite with old friends.

While Kiara was gushing over the twins Kopa saw Nala making her way down pride rock three cubs following. Nala greeted her son with a kiss to the cheek "It's been too long Kopa." Kopa smiled "I missed you too mom. When Kiara finally stops pampering them you can meet my twins." Nala grinned "Twins, that's lovely... You should really meet your sister Asali and your half-sisters Kamili and Mirembe." Kopa looked at the cubs that were sat beside his mother "Half-sister?" Nala looked with a sad look in her eyes "Kovu... He was just how Zira wanted to be. But he's gone now and we're coping." Kopa could tell it was something not to talk about in front of the cubs so he allowed the subject to drop for now.
