I've been here in DeviantArt since 2011, and Qinni was one of the first few artists in the internet I've followed when I was starting to share my art here. Her art is inspiring! How she put her heart, soul and emotions into her work was amazing... and when I found out she was also struggling with her own battle, she faced it with positivity and since then, I saw her as a very inspiring person, a very beautiful soul who fought against her sickness.
Hearing her passing made me really sad.. and I do know that wherever she is right now, she is in a good place, together with the stars she loved to draw. She fought and lived well despite her hardships. She won't be in pain anymore either.
Qinni left the world behind so young, but we won't forget her. She made a big impact to the art community, and it will be remembered.
Thank you for this tribute, DA.

I'm still crying everytime I see her art or a post about her or just think of her. The world lost a great artist and a wonderful human being.. I followed her just for two or three years, but her art got me through some very dark times and I will always be thankful for her to share her wonderful drawings and paintings with us. Rest in peace, Qinni. May you safely travel through the universe, among the stars. When we look up, we will always remember you.

I've been a deviant for 3 years now, and I never even knew her.... I feel bad. It's too late for me to tell her how amazing I think she is.
I sincerely hope she didn't have many regrets...
I don't know why I feel so sad about the passing of someone I never even knew.
I just... wish for her to be in peace and watch over us aspiring artists. I'm sure she will be an inspiration to many.

She was one of the most wonderful artists on Deviantart. Her pictures hat an abundance of the things I value most in art: Tenderness, Openness and Hope. I miss her.

Had this been Twitter, her account would only last six more months until permanently deleted, thus losing all her art to digital history.
So, given this is DeviantArt and not Twitter, please preserve her account (even if it will no longer be an active account) just for the sake of keeping all her visible art visible to all her watchers and visitors (most likely this is what her family would have wanted). Treat it as a memorial page that anyone can visit and pay respects to (just like Facebook does with accounts of deceased people there). And, also, please keep an active eye on any malicious spammers trashing her comment sections, because a deceased artist cannot defend herself in social media nor take care of such rude spam.
With all said, thankee for her art and let her rest in peace. Because it is not fair for parents to bury or cremate their children (ideally, it should be the other way around); one of my mother’s cousins already had to undergo such a somber experience years ago (her daughter also lost a battle to some form of cancer), so I know what I mean with these words.

wait seriously...
twitter deletes inactive accounts?
or the accounts of those who passed after six months?
