*All TMNT Illustrations are SNES turtles in time themed.Mikey and Leatherhead. I love the connection between these two in the current animated series. This level was SOOO awesome in the game. The music from "The good the bad and the ugly" for the stage, as well as the foot soldiers hiding in ponchos and sombreros in the background, diving out at you. It was really fun.
I wanted Mikey to feel like the joker, with dark shading, and all you really see is his eyes and smile. I always imagined it being really cool if he was a rush junkie. Doing anything for that thrill, with a smile at all times.

Boy, you are right about the style and the music of that level! Like many Turtles in Time stages, it's over very quickly but the definitive modern Western feel is all there. Little details like the Foot Soldiers making a grand entrance are what makes this game special.

Oh man, I always figured the project Manhattan game for the NES was my favorite turtle game, but upon re-visiting this one, i'd have to say turtles 4 snes, all the way.

I still think Manhattan Project has a higher challenge factor. Turtles in Time has difficulty options but TMNT3NES can just be really hard in some places like the Leatherhead boss fight in the sewer, fighting Tokka on the roof, facing Rahzar and Shredder in succession at the Technodrome, or trying to endure Krang's spaceship.

I know! but it's the game i had as a child. So i played the hell out of it. Naturally, so was TMNT4, but it's so easy in comparison, even on hardmode, i coasted through it so many times.
